The Initial Evaluation and First Treatment
To start your process optimally, our first meeting is dedicated to open your file ans providing a traditional acupuncture treatment. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, exterior beauty reflects interior balance. This first treatment allows us to regulate your global energy, treat underlying imbalances, and prepare the body to fully receive the constitutional aesthetic acupuncture treatment.
What to Expect During a Follow up Session
1. Follow up and current evaluation
For follow-up sessions, we begin with a brief review and current evaluation where I question you about the effects felt after your last treatment and ask how your week went, including your stress level, fatigue and sleep. This exchange allow me to adjust the acupuncture modalities according to the evolution of yor unique condition.
2. Needle Placement (Body & Face Acupuncture)
Fine, sterile needles are first inserted into strategic points on the body to restore internal balance. Next, specialized facial acupuncture needles are gently inserted into the face to stimulate microcirculation and trigger local cellular renewal.
3. LED Light Therapy Relaxation with Celluma®
You will then rest and unwind under the gentle warmth of the Celluma LED phototherapy device, which is fully approved by Health Canada. This advanced light therapy reduces inflammation, improves skin texture and firmness, minimizes wrinkles, and accelerates collagen production. When paired with acupuncture, Celluma’s anti-aging effects are heavily amplified.
4. Microcurrent Therapy with Myolift™ Triwave
Using the Myolift Triwave microcurrent device, we perform a gentle lymphatic drainage followed by targeted muscle stimulation. This step relaxes overly tight facial muscles and tones underactive ones. Microcurrent technology enhances blood circulation, calms inflammation, improves skin elasticity, and refines pores.
5. Jade Gua Sha & Facial Cupping
To conclude the treatment, I apply a nourishing green tea oil to your face. I then gently glide an authentic Jade Gua Sha tool or use small facial cups across your skin. These traditional techniques stimulate lymphatic drainage, boost circulation to enhance collagen production, and instantly revitalize your complexion.
Treatment Duration, Frequency & Results
While gradual improvements in skin radiance are visible right from the very first session, achieving lasting structural changes requires consistency.
-
Initial Intensive Serie: To allow your body to naturally build up its own collagen, a series of at least 10 to 12 consecutive weekly treatments is highly recommended.
-
Maintenance Treatment: Once the initial series is complete, regular follow-up sessions are recommended to maintain your youthful results. Maintenance frequency typically ranges from every 4 to 8 weeks (once a month to every 2 months).
During your initial consultation, I will provide a personalized estimate of the number of sessions needed to reach your specific goals.
